Visiting Teaching

Every month me and my visiting teaching companion go out and visit 3 very special ladies who have become friends with our monthly visits. We go over to their homes and visit then we teach them a lesson which is provided my The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. below is the lesson for January 2009.

Stand Strong and Immovable in Faith
Teach the scriptures and quotations that meet the needs of the
sisters you visit. Bear testimony of the doctrine. Invite those
you teach to share what they have felt and learned.
Mosiah 5:15:
“Be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life.”
How Can I Stand Strong and Immovable in Faith?
3 Nephi 6:14:
“The church was broken up in all the land save it were among a few of the Lamanites who were converted unto the true faith; and they would not depart from it, for they were firm, and steadfast, and immovable, willing
with all diligence to keep the commandments of the Lord.”
