It That Time Again

It is time for Christmas cards again. Last year Sam's parents got us cards to send out. I enjoyed them so much that I decided to get photo christmas cards this year. It wasn't an easy task because our photo faces wouldn't cooperate or our busy little girl wouldn't cooperate but here are the pictures we took yesterday. Sam set the timer on the camera Then we pick out cards from Walmart!
Some of the flops
This would of been the best picture if I would of cooperated

This is the picture we choose for our card. Merry Christmas everybody Sam, Michelle, & Kaylee Ybarra

FHE

For Family nite we decided to get all the Christmas stuff out and decorate just a little because Kaylee gets into everything. We put on christmas music and went for it.
First we pulled out the christmas tree. It is a fake but it is handy. Last year Sam's mom gave us all his ornaments that he had while growing up. Also the day after christmas Sam bought lights, ornaments and other christmas stuff. that was way cheap I haven't seen any of this stuff so I got a little excited.
Here is the christmas tree partially decorated and with its lights on.
The main event was making a gingerbread house. Kaylee help us by eating the candy within her reach. I decorated the roof.

We had fun and I can't wait for the holidays to keep coming. I really don't like making gingerbread houses because mine always fell and looked horrible. But Sam kepted on giving positive motivation saying good job and your a pro and stuff like that. He is such a great guy!

Thanksgiving week

Last week we spent time with our families. On Friday the 21st we went over to my parent's home. On Saturday my cousins came down to spend the week with my family. They are the daughters of my mom's sister from Casa Grande, AZ.
This is my cousin Argentina
This is my cous Mar de Plata or just Marde
During their week. They went to a YSA activity where it was a game show. We also took them to the Galleria in Roseville. Then my brothers took them out to dinner and to watch Twilight. Then on Wednesday they went to Pier 39 and for Thanksgivings they went off to Fernley , NV and did all sorts of Fun stuff with my brother and the rest of the family up there in Reno.
We left my families house on Tuesday and went up to Auburn to spend thanksgiving with Sam's family. His grandma and aunt and uncle came down for Thanks giving. On Wednesday Sam sister and brother in law and nephew came down. We had a good vacation with family and a good thanksgiving.

This is Kaylee's cousin Zachary He really liked playing with Kaylee's doll only if Sam made it talked.
This is Kaylee's great grandma. She gave Kaylee some earrings from Sam's great grandma.

Kaylee wasn't feeling to well so she slept on Grandpa Lupe she was so cozy.

On Thursday night a little after Thanksgiving dinner we went back to my parents house. On Black Friday we saw Twilight I thought it was very entertaining. There were a couple of funny parts in it. Liked how Jasper looked constipated all the time. Sam just thought that the music was too melancholy and that it didn't fit the mood of the book our the emotions but it is very enjoyable to watch. The next movie I waiting for is Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I have a countdown posted it comes out in July. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

AH-CHOO + more

Kaylee has been doing so many things lately. I thought that I would share with my friends and family. Lately she has been mimicing people sneezing. So she goes around the house going AHHHHHHHH-CHOOOOOOOO . She is so funny. Kaylee loves her baby doll. She hugs it and pats her back. She is a good mom even at this young age.
Kaylee got this bike for her birthday. She loves sitting on it and pushing it around the whole house.

This is Kaylee's hug and wrestle friend Payton. Whenever they meet they give each other hugs then they always fall on the ground.

This video is when Kaylee first started standing for a while. She is growing so fast

Family Pictures

It has been a while since all of my family has gotten together for a family picture. Our family has grown since the last one. I think I was 14. Since then there has been 4 marriages, 6 grandchildren and 5 missions and 1 mission left to go. everybody has grown up. So to my family members who read this we need to try to get a family picture before bobby leaves for a mission and also by the time lynn and jarrel's family grows. I hope it can get done. (On the side are pictures of my and sam's families) hope you enjoy.

We went to the new theatre that is in town. They are offering FREE movies, Popcorn and soda until Thursday Nov. 6. We went tonight for High School Musical 3. Kaylee didn't sit too well so Sam had to stand up with her in the aisle. I really enjoyed the movie great music and it had to feel good feeling to it. I would of had to wait until it came out on DVD if the theatre wasn't free. Thank goodness for grand openings

Halloween and more birthday celebrations

For Halloween we went to Lake of the Pines so Kaylee could go Trick or Treating with her cousin Zachary. She was the cutest little vampire and Zachary was a fireman. We went trick or treating and came back right before it started to rain.

When we came back we had a family birthday celebration for Kaylee. There was a yummy cupcake and gifts from Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Tina and cousin Zachary.

I would have pictures but our camera ran out of batteries.

She had so much fun!

Family Proclamation

I'm just writing a little something to inform people where some of my beliefs come from. I am also upset because people keep on ripping on my friend for her post of information on Prop. 8. So enjoy this wonderful Proclamation on the Family. I feel very strongly about voting yes on Prop 8. It will affect the future of my children and my family if it doesn't pass. I do hope everybody is register to vote and vote on Nov.4. To find out more about the LDS religion visit http://www.mormon.org/ please read the Family Proclamation. This defines marriage and the family.

The Family: A Proclamation to the World
The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints We, the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children. All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose. In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshiped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize his or her divine destiny as an heir of eternal life. The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally. The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife. We declare that God's commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force. We further declare that God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife.We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed. We affirm the sanctity of life and of its importance in God's eternal plan.Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord" (
Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations. The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed. We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets. We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society.

Halloween preview

For those of you who know me well. I don't know how to sew anything and I am not crafty at all. I needed to sew kaylee's costume and I am so grateful for Alice Johnson. She took me to the craft store helped me pick out material. Then she figured out a pattern and helped me sew it. I cut some of it out then I used the sewing machine to sew it was fun.

Another thing I don't do much since kaylee has been born is wake up early. My daughter is a sleeper usually until 12 pm. but at least for a week I have been waking up at 700 am or earlier because kaylee decided to wake up at 630 with her dad. Annyways I have been waking up early to go walking with some of my friends Mallory, Kris, and Krista. It is more exercise than I have before. I always feel great afterwards but I am so exhausted. I'm not use to waking up early and I'm not use to exercising no matter what kind it is. But I love it because I'm with friends and we talk and get to know each otther and it makes the time go by so fast and very enjoyable. Thanks Girls for all the Good Times.

Haircut

Well I finally did it I got myself a
Little haircut. Last night was my breaking point. I couldn't stand my hair any more. It was heavy, also it always wrapped around my neck at night and Kaylee always pulled it and it was hard to fix it. I really like it and so does Sam. It is also so much lighter

Wrong Number

In May, Sam called his brother who lives in Nevada but has a North Carolina area code on his cell phone but, the number he dialed was a wrong number. That was a big mistake on our part I guess. The number he called was a girl in Fort Braggs, North Carolina and she had a very jealous boyfriend. That day I think it was a Sunday and we were heading back home for church. That guy called us every 5 minutes and he cussed and yelled at Sam and left nasty phone messages. Then we stopped picking up. He kept on calling. Then the girlfriend called and asked why Sam called and Sam said I just dialed the wrong number and she said never do that again big mistake. The guy called and said why are you sleeping with my girlfriend, I know you have been seeing her what if I slepted around with your wife and blah, blah, blah. When we were almost home He called I last time and Sam decided to talk to him and said " hey I dialed the wrong number, I'm from california and I'm sorry. He hasn't called us until recently. A different number has been coming up since September but there were no messages and the number came up like 3 times every so often. Also a couple times at the beginning of October but today and yesterday the number would come up with a hang up message. Just recently about 1/2 our or so ago the same number called and I answered. It was the wrong number guy.
He said, "A while ago your husband called my girlfriends number." I said, " Yeah it was a wrong number he was trying to get a hold of his brother who lives in Nevada." He said, "I just wanted to know if you ever been to North Carolina." I said, " I've only been in California that is where I'm from. He said you have never been to Fort Braggs , North Carolina. I said Nope never. then he said ok that is all I wanted to know and he hung up.
It has been 5 months and this guy still hasn't gotten over the fact that it was a wrong number and if he doesn't trust his girlfriend then move on. We had to go through this because of a wrong number. I hope none of you have to go through this.
p.s. Hector if you read this change your number.

Junk Mail - THE RULES OF MAN

My Sister found this funny Junkmail post I just wanted to share so you may all have a laugh or not.
The Man Rules
At last a guy has taken the time to write this all down
Finally , the guys' side of the story..
( I must admit, it's pretty good.)
We always hear ' the rules'
From the female side.
Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules!
Please note
These are all numbered ' 1 ' ON PURPOSE!
_________________________________
1. Men are NOT mind readers.
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become Null and void after 7 Days.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one
1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, Please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
1. Christopher Columbus did NOT need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not A color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say 'nothing,' We will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, Expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine... Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as Hunting, Fishing, Cars or Sports.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
Thank you for reading this.Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight; But did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.
Pass this to as many men as you can to give them a laugh. Pass this to as many women as you can to give them a bigger laugh !!

Sam's Project

The other day Sam decided to do a project and once he gets something in his mind he won't stop till it is done. The first half took about 6 hours and the other part took about a week with all the sanding, staining and getting rid of the smell. I'm so proud of him because now our bathroom is a little more organized.

Johnny is coming home

My Brother Johnny is coming home tonight at 850. Yeah!!!!!!
I'm so excited He lost lots of weight on the mission and he didn't send pictures. Well let me tell you about Johnny. He left for his mission to Santa Cruz Bolivia October 4th 2006 weighing about 350 lbs with the deal that he will keep on losing weight. When he left the MTC he was about 300lbs and in Bolivia he went down to about 220 lbs. I think he gained some of it back because of current events.
Johnny was suppose to be coming home on Oct. 6th, 2008 but there has been some trouble in Bolivia. Well in Bolivia they kicked out the U.S. Ambassador and there was a lot of riots and stuff. So the U.S. Embassy called and told the mission presidents and get all the Americans out of the country. So they sent Johnny and the others to a 5 star hotel in Brazil and told them to eat room service. That was on Saturday the 13th. On Sunday the 14th Johnny & others went to a little branch in Brazil and the people in the branch said we have been waiting for someone like you. You see they needed someone really big to baptise this big handicapped guy but there wasn't anybody who was strong enough to baptise him. On the 15th they sent him to Sao Paolo to wait from a temporary Visa. Well on Wednesday they paid a 100- something fine and then flew him home because he only had a three day pass. He comes home tonight. Sorry I don't have any pictures when I do I'll post them

M&M's and More

The other day I had a craving for peanut M&M's . I guess Kaylee had the same craving. She somehow got my peanut M&m's off the couch and when I caught her she had about seven peanuts around her and 3 peanuts in her mouth. She just sucked the chocalate off those suckers.
